June 2010: Hartec delivers a PVD system to North American PVD Alliance partner, Red Spot Paint and Varnish Co. in Evansville, Indiana. The system is equipped to provide all PVD coatings (similar to galvano layers) and colored PVD layers for metal and plastic substrates under mass production conditions. It was custom designed to primarily develop PVD UV base and top coatings.

April 2010: Hartec expands production capacity

Due to growing worldwide demand for Hartec Technology PVD equipment, especially in the plastics sector, manufacturing capacity must be expanded. Final assembly floor space was increased 30% by adding a mezzanine level.

April 2010: Hartec US Corp. is founded in the industrial center of North America in Cincinnati, Ohio USA. Our subsidiary will improve direct contact with our customers for all inquiries and projects. Hartec PVD Corp. is situated in the core of the American automotive supplier industry, along the I-75 business corridor

Jul 2009: hartec starts up in Shenzen

Apr 2009: hartec starts with a new sales partner in Asia

Feb 2009: hartec starts up in Hsin-chu, Taiwan (R.O.C.)

Aug 2008: initial operation of the 4. PVD coating equipment for decorative metallization of plastic
From now on it is also possible to metallize plastic components with up to 1,20 m lenght.

Apr 2008: Expansion of sales activities to South Korea Withus Chem Co., Ltd. ist new sales partner of hartec in Sungnam-City.

Feb 2008: Expansion of sales activities to Thailand Centasia Co., Ltd. ist new sales partner of hartec in Bangkok.

Sep 2007: Incorporation of hartec PVD Ltd. in England, UK
hartec Anlagenbau GmbH expands its engineering support activities to the UK, Scotland and Ireland.

Jun 2007: hartec announces new sales cooperation in Italy hartec starts new sales cooperation with the company OBE Italia in Calalzo di Cadore, Italy in order to further extend our sales activities for PVD coatings equipment. The cooperation is mainly focused on automotive and consumer goods industry. The first official presentation of hartec and OBE will be at the Verona trade fair "Saloni della Verniciatura", 14-16 June in Verona, Italy.

Nov 2006: hartec celebrates 20-years' anniversary

hartec is DQS-/ IQNet-certified for the implementation and maintaining of a Quality Management System according to the standard ISO 9001 : 2000

Apr 2006: hartec KG, hartec Gesellschaft für Hartstoff und Dünnschichttechnik mbH Co. KG and hartec Verwaltungsgesellschaft merge together to hartec GmbH

hartec Anlagenbau GmbH launches one of the world's biggest PVD coating equipment for PVD plastic metallization. The equipment is delivered to the Kunshan production plant in China and applied for plastic metallization of laptop and notebook housings, mobile phones and consumer goods.

Completion of the new assembling hall for PVD coating equipment in Stetten a.k.M., Germany

Mär 2006: Opening of the sales office hartec asia Pte. Ltd. in Taipeh/Taiwan. The sales office in Taipeh offers the possibility to closely accompany our customers in product development.

Jan 2006: Dr. Rüdiger Schäfer (formerly Berlac AG, Switzerland) becomes new board member of the hartec group. His expertise and knowledge for industrial lacquers, especially for the business sector telecommunication, automotive and consumer goods completes the technological and strategic focus of the hartec group.

The activity fields are focused on:
