PVD-coatings

Plasma treatment is a physical procedure to modify and activate
polymer surfaces.

With this procedure, developed by hartec, it is possible to metallize and/ or lacquer all kind of plastics after processing. It is also possible to treat silicone, TPU and TPE materials for subsequent metallizing and/ or lacquering.

During this procedure, chemical reactions are released on the substrate surface by selective gas supply in the plasma phase. These reactions lead to surface tensions specifically verified for the used lacquer systems.

It is even possible to develop reactive boundary layers which serve as phase commissionaire during the lacquering process.
