Decorative coatings

Unlimited design possibilities due to the combination of PVD and lacquer technology

PVD layers in classic metal look with light reflection
unlimited color effects realized by 2-component PU/ UV lacquer
suitable for a wide range of substrate materials:
plastic, ceramics, diecast and metals, flexible materials like silicone, TPU and TPE

additional features of PVD decorative coatings

Metallization of plastics with Topcoating:

With its patented PVD coating technology hartec offers imitation of all kinds of metallic surfaces on a wide range of substrate materials, incl. flexible materials like silicone etc. The combination of PVD metallization with subsequent lacquering opens a new world of decorative finishing. It is possible to realize effects like glossy, matt, depth-effect or translux® (semi-translucent layers). Depending on the surface quality, the PVD-coating is put directly on the substrate or on a Primer.

hartec cooperation partner for lacquer technology is Berlac AG (www.berlac.com),
a leading Suisse lacquer company. In the in-house lacquer laboratory based on Berlac® coating systems, hartec can offer quick and efficient competence in development, sampling, testing and color matching.

Since January 2007 hartec can also apply UV-lacquers. With the installation of a UV-drying system including conveyer belt in our inhouse lacquer laboratory, hartec is now able to offer 2-K PU Systems as well as the application of Primer with UV-lacquers.
