PVD-coatings

Decorative hardcoatings

Decorative hardcoatings are metal-organic or anorganic compounds, which deposit out of the gas phase released by selected gas addition during the sputter process.

These so-called metal ceramics can deposit on plastics, real metals, electroplated surfaces or glass.
The color of these layers can be determined depending on the basic layer structure or the layer thickness (interference colors).

process temperature for PVD 80-160°C
possibility of additional treatment, e.g. lacquering as protective layer
